Overview
Collaboration cars usually get collaboration campaigns: two logos fighting for the hero frame, a mountain road, a drone. Meridian wanted the opposite. Ninety cars would sell themselves; the campaign's job was to make the edition feel inevitable to the ninety people already circling it, and to give both marques imagery they could run under either name.
Solution
We shot the car the way we shoot product: seamless grey cove, one enormous soft source, and a near monochrome grade that lets the silver body read as liquid. No location, no motion blur, no badges in the stills. The car's geometry carries every frame, which was the point of the collaboration in the first place.
Process
Week one was pre-production: grade tests on paint samples, a full previz of all 22 setups, and a shot order built around the four studio days. Days one and two were stills, working the cove from full profiles down to macro passes on the lamps and wheels. Days three and four were the film, shot on a motion-control slider so every move could repeat until the reflections behaved.
Final Thoughts
All ninety cars were allocated within a week of the announcement, and the film ran unedited on both brands' channels, which was the quiet test behind the whole brief: one campaign, two masters, zero compromises requested. The stills have since outlived the launch and moved into Vettore's brand book.
